Event Update – 1 September 2026

We’ve been informed today that Exeter Arena will be closed for essential track resurfacing works, meaning our races on Friday 25 September will unfortunately have to be postponed.

We have temporarily paused entries while we look at the options and will provide a further update within the next few days.

⬡ Seeded 3km Track Races & Under 12&14 1200m Races at Exeter Arena Athletics Stadium

⬡ Graded races suitable for all abilities in a safe traffic free environment.

• 7.10pm - Under 12 & Unbder 14 Boys and Girls 1200m race - Please note: Due to changes to England Athletics age groups and maximum permitted race distances, the U12 and U14 races will be 1200m (instead of 1 mile) this year. The 3000m races are open to U16 athletes and above only.

• 7.20pm - "Try The Track 3k Race" For people who have never run on the track before or are new to running, or just want to run in this race! This race will be for people of 15min (approximately) and above, depending on entries

• 7.45pm (approx) - Seeded 3k Races - going from slowest to fastest.
